Hi Leonard -
Paschal H. LaForest was my "Half-great grand uncle"...here's how:
My Great Great Grandmother was Julie (LaForest) Jewett she was the daughter of Pascal LaForest and M_?__(Dupreis) LaForest.
Paschal according to my records was previously married to a Louise (Marie) Meloche (which could match your listing of a Mary (=Marie?) LaForest). They had two children: Paschal H. LaForest and Victoria LaForest.
My records show Paschal H. as being born April 21, 1832 (which might account for your listing of 49 years at death...this birthdate equals 49 years 6 mos and 18 days to death at Nov 9, 1881)
My records show a son George, but nothing else regarding Paschal's descendants...until your post.
Paschal Senior when married to M_?___Dupreis fathered:
Mary Louis (b. 1836)
Joseph (b. ?)
Antoine (Antonie?) (b. ?)
Julia (my Gr-Gr-Grandmother) (b. 12/14/1835)
Looks like your wife and I may be cousins through our mutual gr-gr-grandparents.
This is great - I'd like to learm more about your family line so I can link it to mine.
Thanks.
James R. Jewett
